Herding is a traditionally-run family business, whose board of management comprises of a mix of family members and long-standing senior employees since 2005. Klaus Herding GmbH emerged as result of the re-structuring of the Carl Herding GmbH & Co. KG established in 1918. The headquarters continues to be located at the Industriestrasse 1 in Bocholt, at which premises the previous production facilities are now being utilised for storage, distribution and the in-house production of the unique "Unicade" brand: personalised high quality woven blankets.

Our first license agreement was established with Disney back in 1957 and we have been active in licensing ever since. This gives Herding more than 50 years experience in producing licensed image products.
